Sunday Worship:
Our worship atmosphere is warm, friendly,
and welcoming. Our music includes traditional hymns,
classical as well as contemporary pieces. We are here
because we love Christ and we want to share that love
with you.
Wednesday
Worship:
Our Wednesday Worship is more contemporary and
open. We sing Praise songs to our Lord and Savior, Jesus
Christ. We are given the opportunity to share with
others what God is doing in our lives and receive that
extra nudge to get us through the week. Supper is served
beforehand and is always delicious.
Nursery:
We have a fun, loving & nurturing place for your infant
or toddler during Sunday School & Worship, Bible Study &
Wednesday Worship.
Sunday School:
Wonderful in-depth conversations, emphasis on God’s word
and a kinship of the heart are what Sunday school is all
about at Francis Asbury. Deep friendships and
connections are made each week in our 7 available
classes.
Choir: We have a place for you! We are small in
number but big in sound and in our love for God.
Children’s Church: Children ages 3 -8 are invited to
participate in this educational yet fun program during
morning worship. Exciting & unforgettable activities
teach your child about God, His Son, His Word & His
people.
Prayer Group:
We believe God hears us. We believe God answers prayer. If
you’d like to request prayer, please let us know. We’d
be happy to pray for you.
Bible Study:
Don’t miss this weekly opportunity to gather with brothers
and sisters in Christ and indulge in the Word of God.
Pastor Fred is leading "Confronting the Controversies"
by Adam Hamilton. This study addresses many hot topics
of today.
FROG Youth: For High School
Students. Join us for fun games, devotions, outings &
bible study.

October 12th at 11AM: Homecoming Sunday with Guest
Pastor Thornton Hawkins. A covered dish luncheon will
follow.
November 23rd at 7PM: Community Thanksgiving Service
at Mt. Pisgah SDA Church
Themed Services:
Throughout the year, Francis Asbury United Methodist
Church offers special Worship Services including: Ash
Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Sunrise
Service, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Watch Night.
Information about the times of these special services is
provided as these special times approach.

United Methodist Men Breakfast
Each
3rd Sunday, our UMM host a breakfast.
Prepared and enjoyed by the men, it is a time of
fellowship and devotion.
WOW Women’s Group
Each
1st Tuesday, our WOW (Women of Wisdom) Group meet to share a
devotion, enjoy one another’s company & discuss mission
opportunities.
FAB Women
Each
2nd Tuesday, our FAB Women’s Group meets at
one another’s homes. This Sisterhood began in 2001 and
is still going strong today. Enjoy delicious food,
laughs and a genuine love of our Lord and One
another.
