Folks, I’m going
to be short and to the point. GOD IS AWESOME! We have
had a tremendous start to the building pledge campaign.
Remember we would like to have all pledges by Homecoming
Sunday.
Saturday, October 6th is the twelve-hour prayer vigil to
pray for God’s guidance concerning the building project.
There are still spots available; we need you to sign up.
On Sunday the 7th, I have been asked to preach a sermon
that will tie all our efforts together and inspire us to
trust God. I believe with all my heart that we can trust
God. I have amazing information to share with you on
October 7, please be here if possible. This information
will be extremely important as we make decisions that
will determine the direction of Francis Asbury UMC for
years to come.
God is blessing us for a reason! What could it be? God
blessed Abraham for a reason, “I will make you a great
nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and
you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless
you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all
the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis
12:2 & 3) Is this our calling as well?
Pray. Seek God. Listen to His voice. Respond. In the
meantime, may God’s blessings overwhelm you.
