"A Sunday in the
Park" was held on July 17th in the FAUMC Courtyard. The Lord blessed
us with beautiful weather and a wonderful day of fun, games &
delicious homemade ice cream. 54 people were in attendance for this
day of old and many wore their whitest whites for the occasion.
Croquet, Badminton, checkers, sail boats in water, bobbing for
apples and some heated horseshoe competition made for a special and
memorable day as part of our 100th Celebration. Refreshing iced tea
& frigid vanilla, peach, strawberry & raspberry ice cream hit the
spot on this very warm and super sunny Sunday. Thank you to everyone
who helped make this an unforgettable day in the park. But most of
all, our thanks goes to Christ for being in our hears and for
allowing us to Celebrate 100 years as part of His church. |
